The protestors and citizens of baltimore all know how to do the policeman’s job better than they do. While wanting them back, they still criticize their work, as in “leaving the petty stuff alone, the community would have more respect for police officers.” well, they surely do respect your right to do the petty stuff (which leads to the big stuff) and when it turns into big stuff, you have only yourself to blame, not the police, but, oh, right, you still do blame them. You don’t want the police, but when you don’t have them, you want them. I am so sorry that you are finding out what a bunch of thugs actually live in your neighborhood that the police have managed to tamp down before this. But those tactics are too much for you. Why don’t you form a neighborhood watch group? Since you know how to be police better than the professionals, this would be right up your alley. Oh, but wait, you are now afraid to walk the streets…
